Evaporation systems
SCHRADER Verfahrenstechnik GmbH delivers evaporation systems for various areas of the chemical and food industry as well as resource recovery and waste-water treatment in the areas of environmental technology.
Pharmaceutical and food industry:
- plant extracts in the pharmaceutical area
- fruit juice concentrates
- coffee and tea extracts as raw materials for instant products
- dairy products
- egg products
- special products such as pigments etc.
Environmental technology and general chemical industry:
- concentration of pulp waste liquors
- evaporation of bleach plant waste-water
- concentration of glycerine
- emulsion separation
- evaporation of chipboard and fibre-board waste-water
- concentration of dilute acids
- evaporation of sulphur dioxide and other liquid gases
- thermal treatment, combined with chemo-physical pre-treatment and crystallisation of highly polluted organic and inorganic special waste-water

Styles of construction of the Schrader evaporation systems
Our evaporation systems are dimensioned individually depending on the requirement. The following styles of construction are available as evaporation systems:
- forced and natural circulation evaporator
- falling film evaporator with circular tube or panel heating surface
- plate evaporator, also with interconnected in-depth sterilisation
- rising film evaporator and climbing film evaporator
- thin film evaporator
- bubble evaporator
Crystallisation evaporator and high concentrators
What is Schrader able to offer you in evaporation system peripheral equipment?
If desired, we are able to supply complete systems with all necessary secondary structures
This includes:
- mechanical separators for the precipitation of substances that arise or that are unsuitable for the thermal separation technique
- integrated flushing systems including the technology for destroying nitrous gases when using nitric acid as flushing chemical
- high-performance droplet separator for the highest degree of purity of the evaporator condensate
- integrated stripper systems for by-product separation, e.g. ammonia, sulphur dioxide and ethanol or for subsequent treatment of the evaporation condensate
