Fragrance extraction

These systems serve for the recovery of volatile aromas such as fruit and coffee aromas that would be lost during downstream concentrations. The aromas that are recovered in this way then find further use as a concentrate.  Another application is the so-called water vapour distillation. During this process, perfume oil is recovered from raw vegetable materials such as lavender using water vapour.
