Sterilisation systems

The products used in the food industry, pharmaceutics, cosmetics and chemical industry are subject to stringent hygiene requirements and have to be rendered germfree (sterile) as a rule. This sterilisation is generally carried out by heating the products to high temperatures for a short time. All germs are killed by means of this procedure.

For example the products involved are:

- pharmaceutical extracts
- dairy products
- beverages
- various foodstuffs, e.g. gelatine

2-stage evaporation with integrated deep sterilisation

Construction methods and functional principles:

- direct evaporation sterilisation with clean vapour
- sterilisation and pasteurisation by means of indirect heating, in plate or tube apparatus with appropriate heat-retaining passages
