larutan kimia dengan tujuan untuk memusatkan fase yang lebih tidak mudah menguap dengan menguapkan fase yang lebih mudah menguap. Sistem penguapan SCHRADER mengentalkan (memekatkan) ekstrak terlarut ke nilai (kandungan bahan kering) yang dibutuhkan oleh pelanggan. Evaporasi sering digabungkan dengan distilasi, untuk tujuan ini fase yang lebih mudah menguap terkondensasi setelah penguapan dan kondensat atau distilat juga
