SCHRADER Apparatebau GmbH is your specialist for the planning and construction of apparatus, columns and heat exchangers for a wide range of applications and industries. Our experienced team will find the optimum solution for each individual request based on your specifications and in compliance with worldwide standards and regulations – whether you as a customer prefer to optimise and increase the performance of an existing plant or to develop new equipment.
Thanks to its approvals and certification, SCHRADER can operate worldwide and is able to handle large dimensions: 6.5 m diameter, 50 m length and 100 t unit weight are easily possible, while the maximum crane hook height is 23 m and our rollers can shape sheet metal up to a thickness of 35 mm.
All equipment can be pickled and neutralised in a separate hall, which is also available for contract pickling if required. Thanks to its large production hall, SCHRADER can pre-assemble and test complete plants, significantly reducing the time required for on-site installation and commissioning. Even after completion, SCHRADER will, of course, remain your contact for operational safety, service and maintenance.

Pickling hall
The pickling hall with its own water treatment plant meets all applicable environmental requirements and permits both immersion and spray pickling.
- Pickling bath (L x B x H): 6 x 2 x 2 metres
- Pickling bath (L x B x H): 2 x 1 x 1 metres
- Hall area for spray pickling: approx. 30 x 15 metres
Quality assurance
The following test procedures can be performed and documented in line with customer requirements and regulations:
- Visual inspection
- X-ray testing (we have both an X-ray room in accordance with the Radiation Protection Ordinance and a mobile, 200 kV X-ray tube for X-ray testing).
- Dye penetrant testing
- Ultrasonic testing
- Magnetic particle testing
- Endoscopic internal inspection of components
- Material mix-up testing by means of X-ray fluorescence analysis
